Legal science defines the term "concession" as a privilege, approval, license, permit and procedure.
By granting a concession, the public government gives to a specific legal entity the privilege, approval, license and permission to perform specific activities and/or exploit specific goods for economic or special purposes.
All concessional activities on the maritime domain have to be implemented in compliance with the development plans.
When analyzing the legal nature of the concession institutes on the maritime domain, through the legislation, and observing it through the prism of the use of maritime domain, we provide the additional insights through the case studies of the concession on the maritime domain.
